What is TrueHuman?

TrueHuman is a multi-layered anti-bot/sybil protocol, a novel solution for protection against bots, sybil attackers and other sophisticated automated threats, especially tuned for crypto & web3 based usecases. Our solution to bot/sybil resistance involves filtering out bots from real users while catering to users' privacy and without requiring complex actions to prove their humanity & uniqueness in the ecosystem, providing a top notch UX, privacy preserving and fastest way to separate themselves from the bots.

Web3 industry is a hotspot of bot & sybil activity and some of the most exploited categories are:

  1. Airdrops

  2. Quests

  3. Gaming & Gambling Industry

  4. Faucets

As AI is advancing at a alarming speed and soon we'll see a time where its near impossible to distinguish between a real human and a bot utilizing advanced AI to impersonate a human. Even at contemporary, AI can pass most captchas & "are you a bot" gatings, the only current solution that most people are experimenting on is a plutocratic way to filter bots. But this method has more drawbacks, the most major one being it depletes the UX for real users. Moreover, such a plutocratic and capital intensive methods is a failure in eliminating bots/sybils as most these attackers already have the incentives to pass through such plutocratic criteria and for the long run maintain fake legitimate looking portfolios, and in turn this just harms the real users, allowing only monetarily capable users and such concentration of capital inevitably gives rise to centralization.

So our infrastructure has been designed in a way that is:

  1. Anti-plutocratic: Making it fair for every individual and preventing such oligopolistic and monopolistic structures

  2. Built for the future: No direct threats from advancements of AI.

  3. Tuned for adoptation: Proving humanity shouldn't be so complex like it is today, an effortless and fast way of effectively telling one is a real human with ease for any individual, even directly coming from a web2 background is important.

  4. Uniquity of a user: Making the ecosystem more transparent by defining the unicity of every real user without revealing their personal data.
